| Latest News Rev. Monsignor Joseph J. Granato who is the pastor at St. Lucy’s Church in Newark, NJ will be offering a Mass, on January 20, for the Oratory of Divine Love apostolate and our founder and president Father Benedict Groeschel, as well as the directors of the Oratory Jerry and Yolanda Cleffi, the Oratory coordinators and associate members. St. Lucy's Church (www.stlucy.net) has perpetual adoration 24 hours a day seven days a week and this parish maintains the national shrine of St. Gerard. The church is in the heart of Newark that shines the glorious light of hope, prayer and love, it is a testimony to see an effective parish serving the needs of the inner city, the poor and needy. We have asked Rev. Monsignor Joseph J. Granato if we could leave a basket (the basket is in the chapel to the right of the Blessed Sacrament and high above the basket is a beautiful cross of our Lord) with all the names of the Oratory coordinators, Oratory group names, and the leaders of the Oratory with a sign saying to pray for this apostolate and everyone who is involved with this work. We felt it was important to remember this apostolate in prayer since your mission is to serve and pray for reform, renewal, and lifting up the needs of others. St. Lucy's church is a cornerstone of prayer and be assured that you will be remembered in prayer. The Oratory is growing and we thank God for his blessing on this apostolate. We are in 29 states with 85 registered Oratory groups throughout the United States, 4 registered Oratory groups in Canada, and we have a total of 675 Oratory members. There are 11 new states pending registration we are praying that all who have written to the Oratory would register and start there groups beginning this year. During the Christmas season we have sent all the coordinators that were registered with the Oratory the certificates of affiliation, coordinator membership cards and associate membership cards. Please let us know if each of your groups have received this information. We are asking each of the Oratory groups to contribute a donation to the Oratory to help incur expenses of postage, printing, and office supplies. On behalf of the Oratory we say thank you because we cannot go forward without your faithful support. If your parish would like to offer a Mass for this apostolate or if your parish has perpetual adoration or forty hours of adoration and would like to offer prayer intentions for this apostolate we would be most grateful. Please write to us we would like to communicate a note of thanks on behalf of those who are being blessed by the Oratory of Divine Love and those who are blessing this apostolate. Daily we lift up all the Oratory groups in prayer that God will use you. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ bless you and strengthen you to be his loving disciple, through the intercession of his mother Mary, and St. Catherine of Genoa. His servants and yours, Jerry & Yolanda Cleffi Directors of the Oratory of Divine Love PAX <>< |
